The title compound, C(12)H(12)N(3)O(2) (+)·Cl(-)·H(2)O, was prepared by the reaction of N'-[(5-methyl-2-fur-yl)methyl-ene]isonicotino-hydrazide and hydro-chloric acid at room temperature.
